Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add the marinara sauce to the beef and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Mix the ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Spread a layer of meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Layer 4 noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, a third of the mozzarella, and more meat sauce.
  8. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, sauce, and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
