Description

A hearty and flavorful vegetarian lasagna filled with layers of cheese, vegetables, and marinara sauce.


Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups spinach, cooked
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, spinach, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  6. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese and some marinara sauce.
  7. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles, marinara sauce, and the remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
