Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  3. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  4. Add the marinara sauce to the beef; simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Mix ricotta cheese, egg, basil, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl.
