- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion and garlic over medium heat.
- Add the marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
- Layer 4 noodles, followed by ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and meat sauce.
- Repeat the layers three times, finishing with meat sauce and topped with Parmesan.
- Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before serving.
