Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped apples
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla in another bowl.
  4. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until a smooth dough forms, then fold in the apples and cinnamon.
  5. Roll the dough out into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  6. Spread the cream cheese evenly over the dough.
  7. Roll it up tightly and cut into 1-inch thick rolls.
  8. Place the rolls into a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Blend the cream cheese and powdered sugar for the icing.
  11. Drizzle the icing over the warm rolls before serving.
