Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  5. Gently fold in the diced apples, making sure they’re evenly distributed in the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow it to cool before dusting with powdered sugar and serving it up!
