- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup butter, cut in pieces
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
- Place the chicken breasts into a 13×9-inch baking dish.
- Pour the lemon juice over the chicken.
- Combine the lemon pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl, then sprinkle this evenly over the chicken.
- Take a tablespoon of butter and place it on each chicken breast.
- Scatter the remaining butter pieces around the chicken.
- Slice the lemon and add those slices around and on top of the chicken.
- Bake uncovered for 30-45 minutes until the chicken is golden and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Notes
Don’t skip the lemon juice for juiciness. Use a meat thermometer for perfect cooking.
