Description

A comforting dish with juicy chicken coated in buttery lemon goodness and seasoned with garlic and pepper, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup butter, cut in pieces
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place the chicken breasts into a 13×9-inch baking dish.
  3. Pour the lemon juice over the chicken.
  4. Combine the lemon pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl, then sprinkle this evenly over the chicken.
  5. Take a tablespoon of butter and place it on each chicken breast.
  6. Scatter the remaining butter pieces around the chicken.
  7. Slice the lemon and add those slices around and on top of the chicken.
  8. Bake uncovered for 30-45 minutes until the chicken is golden and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Notes

Don’t skip the lemon juice for juiciness. Use a meat thermometer for perfect cooking.
