- 4 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 cup salted butter, melted (226 grams)
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder (62 grams)
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (98 grams)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, but recommended)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grab a metal 9×9 baking dish and line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the sugar and eggs. Beat them together with an electric mixer on high speed for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Next, whisk in the melted butter and the vanilla extract.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Fold these dry ingredients into the wet ones until you form a thick batter.
- Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake in the oven for 33 to 38 minutes.
- Allow your brownies to cool for at least an hour before slicing.
Notes
For an even more chocolatey experience, stir in 1 cup of chocolate chips at the end of mixing.
