- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until the garlic is golden.
- Drain the spaghetti, reserving some pasta water.
- Toss the spaghetti in the skillet with the garlic oil, adding reserved water if needed.
- Season with salt and top with parsley and Parmesan before serving.
