Description

A crowd-pleasing beef and bean dip perfect for Super Bowl parties, served warm with tortilla chips.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 jar (16 oz) salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Tortilla chips for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Drain excess fat, then stir in garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in black beans and corn, then add salsa. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Cover to melt, about 5 minutes.
  5. Serve with tortilla chips and toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat on the stovetop or microwave.
