- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar (for cream cheese filling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Beat the softened cream cheese, 2 tbsp sugar, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.
- Whisk together melted butter and 3/4 cup sugar until combined. Add eggs and remaining 1/2 tsp vanilla extract, stirring until mixed.
- Pour in the milk and stir again.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually fold into wet mixture until no dry flour remains.
- Fold in the blueberries gently.
- Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon half the cream cheese mixture over the top and swirl lightly with a knife. Repeat with remaining batter and cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for about 60 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve warm, cold, or at room temperature. Pair with coffee or ice cream.
