- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet and add garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Mix the ricotta cheese with eggs and a pinch of salt.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
- Layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, ground beef, and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with marinara sauce and mozzarella on top.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can substitute ground beef with turkey for a lighter version.
