Description
Fudgy one-bowl brownies stacked with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, and whipped cream. Make-ahead components create a show-stopping dessert in minutes.
Ingredients
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
⅓ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder
½ cup dark chocolate chips
Vanilla ice cream
Hot fudge sauce
Whipped cream
Sprinkles, nuts, cherries (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 8×8 pan with parchment.
2. Melt butter; whisk with sugar until pale.
3. Add eggs and vanilla; whisk 1 minute.
4. Sift in cocoa, flour, salt, baking powder; fold until just combined.
5. Stir in chocolate chips.
6. Spread into pan; bake 20-25 minutes (center slightly jiggly).
7. Cool 15 minutes in pan, then lift out.
8. Cut warm brownies into squares.
9. Stack with ice cream scoops, drizzle hot fudge, top with whipped cream and garnishes.
10. Serve immediately.
Notes
Underbake slightly for fudgy texture.
Brownies can be made 2 days ahead; store airtight.
Warm brownies 10 seconds in microwave before assembly.
