- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup cooked shredded chicken
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: garlic powder or onion powder
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the orzo and toast it for about 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and add in the broccoli florets.
- Cook until the orzo is tender and the broth is absorbed, about 10-12 minutes.
- Stir in the shredded chicken and cheddar cheese until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
