Description
Deliciously cheesy quesadillas filled with shredded chicken and drizzled with hot honey, served with a spicy jalapeño cream sauce.

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 1 jalapeño, diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine the shredded chicken with hot honey, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with olive oil.
- Place a tortilla in the skillet and add a portion of the chicken mixture and cheese on one half.
- Fold the tortilla in half and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, diced jalapeño, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl for the jalapeño cream sauce.
- Serve the quesadillas with the jalapeño cream sauce on the side.
Notes
Don’t overstuff the quesadillas to avoid them falling apart while flipping. Customize the cheese and adjust spice levels as desired.
