- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup marinara sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix together the ground beef, cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and shape it into a loaf.
- Pour marinara sauce over the top for extra flavor, if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
