  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix together the ground beef, cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Pour marinara sauce over the top for extra flavor, if desired.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
