Description
Juicy chicken paired with creamy avocado and melted cheese in a golden sandwich. Quick, satisfying, and full of flavor!
Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
2 ripe avocados
4 slices of sourdough bread
4 slices of cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Marinate chicken in olive oil and lemon juice for 15–30 minutes.
3. Grill or pan-sear chicken on medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side until 165°F.
4. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
5. Mash avocado with a pinch of salt and lemon juice.
6. Assemble sandwich: bread, avocado, sliced chicken, cheese.
7. Toast or grill sandwich until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
8. Serve warm with sides.
Notes
You can swap sourdough bread with ciabatta for extra crunch.
Make it spicy by adding chipotle powder to the marinade.
