Description
A delicious Chicken Torta Sandwich with juicy chicken, creamy avocado, and spicy pickled jalapeños, all tucked inside soft rolls.
Ingredients

- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 telera rolls
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup pickled jalapeños
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper generously.
- Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until it’s cooked through and has beautiful grill marks.
- Mix the mayonnaise and lime juice in a bowl.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Slice the telera rolls in half and toast them lightly if desired.
- Spread the lime mayonnaise on the inside of each roll.
- Layer the grilled chicken, avocado slices, and pickled jalapeños on the bottom half of the roll.
- Top with fresh cilantro and close the sandwich.
Notes
Don’t overcook the chicken to keep it juicy. Customize your toppings to suit your taste.
