Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well blended.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped strawberries.
- Drop rounded balls of cookie dough onto the lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Optional: Drizzle melted chocolate over cooled cookies and add sprinkles.
