Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 (16 oz) tub whipped topping (Cool Whip), divided
2 (3.9 oz) boxes instant chocolate pudding mix
3 cups cold milk
Chocolate shavings or crushed pecans for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a bowl, mix flour, melted butter, and chopped pecans until crumbly.
3. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to form a crust.
4. Bake for 15 minutes, then let cool completely.
5. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
6. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping and spread over cooled crust.
7. In another bowl, whisk together pudding mix and milk until thickened (about 2 minutes).
8. Spread pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
9. Top with remaining whipped topping, spreading evenly.
10. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
