Description
This Cinnamon Roll French Toast Casserole is the ultimate breakfast indulgence — gooey cinnamon rolls baked in a creamy custard, topped with icing and a hint of vanilla for a warm, cozy treat everyone will love.
Ingredients
2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
4 large eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup milk
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tbsp melted butter
Optional toppings: chopped pecans, powdered sugar, or extra syrup
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Open cinnamon roll cans and cut each roll into quarters. Spread evenly in the prepared dish.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and maple syrup until smooth.
4. Pour the mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
5. Drizzle with melted butter.
6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown and the center is set.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
8. Warm the icing from the cinnamon roll packages and drizzle it generously over the casserole.
9. Top with chopped pecans, powdered sugar, or extra syrup if desired.
10. Serve warm for breakfast or brunch.
Notes
For a make-ahead version, assemble the casserole the night before and refrigerate — bake in the morning.
Add diced apples or raisins for extra flavor.
