  • 1/2 cup sourdough discard
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg

  3. Whisk together the sourdough discard, milk, melted butter, and egg in another bowl.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  6. Spread butter over the surface of the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly on top.
  7. Roll the dough tightly to form a log and slice into 1-inch pieces.
  8. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, giving them some room to rise.
  9. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly before serving and enjoy your gooey cinnamon rolls!

Notes

Drizzle with icing for added sweetness. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
