Description
A comforting and light dish combining buttery chicken, zesty lemon, and savory garlic with tender linguine.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or chives) for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Once cooked to al dente, drain the pasta and set it aside.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant; this usually takes about a minute.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Once the butter is hot and aromatic, add the chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and no longer pink inside, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Stir in Dijon mustard and the lemon juice, along with the lemon zest, to create a creamy, tangy sauce.
- Toss the cooked linguine into the skillet, mixing everything together well so the pasta is coated in the delicious sauce.
- Garnish your masterpiece with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
