- 1 can crescent roll dough or puff pastry
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or preheat the air fryer.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough or puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly from one end and cut into 1-inch thick slices.
- Place the slices on a baking sheet or air fryer basket, brushing with beaten egg if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
