Description

A comforting and easy-to-make skillet dish featuring tender chicken breasts with the zing of pepperoncini in a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy pepperoncini peppers (jarred or fresh)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream or a healthier substitute

  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the creamy pepperoncini peppers and cook for 2 minutes.
  7. Reduce the heat, then stir in the heavy cream, mixing well.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce, and let cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with steamed rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
