Ingredients

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400g canned diced tomatoes
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain it and set it aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the diced tomatoes along with their juices, and let this mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce, ensuring each strand is well coated.
  6. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves and a generous sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
