Crispy Parmesan Chicken

Description

A comforting dish of crispy chicken breasts in a rich garlic cream sauce, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 small to medium chicken breasts (or 2 large halved)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 34 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup light cream or heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Lower the heat and add the minced garlic to the same pan, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the cream while stirring continuously.
  7. Add in the Italian seasoning or oregano and parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  8. If using spinach, fold it in and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Return the crispy chicken to the pan, spooning the sauce over the top and let it simmer for another minute.
  10. Serve hot with your choice of sides!

Notes

Pairs well with pasta, roasted vegetables, or mashed potatoes. Great for leftovers stored in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
