- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1 cup celery, sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, chopped onion, sliced carrots, sliced celery, garlic powder, and black pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cut the biscuit dough into quarters and drop them on top of the chicken mixture.
- Cover and continue to cook until the dumplings are cooked through.
- Serve hot and enjoy your comforting meal!
