Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, chopped onion, sliced carrots, sliced celery, garlic powder, and black pepper. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, cut the biscuit dough into quarters and drop them on top of the chicken mixture.
  5. Cover and continue to cook until the dumplings are cooked through.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy your comforting meal!
