Description

A comforting baked dish featuring chicken, rice, mixed vegetables, and melted cheese that’s perfect for family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice
  • 1 cup of shredded chicken
  • 1 cup of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the cooked rice, shredded chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  4. Spread the shredded cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute chickpeas for chicken and use vegetable cream soup.
