Description
This Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl is a bright, refreshing, and nutrient-packed breakfast made with pitaya, banana, and tropical fruits, topped with fresh fruit, granola, and seeds for crunch and color.
Ingredients
1 cup frozen dragon fruit (pitaya) cubes or 1 frozen pitaya smoothie pack
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 cup coconut milk or almond milk
1 tbsp honey or agave syrup (optional)
Toppings:
1/4 cup granola
1/4 cup sliced banana
1/4 cup fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp shredded coconut
1 tsp hemp seeds
Instructions
1. Add frozen dragon fruit, banana, mango, and coconut milk to a high-speed blender.
2. Blend until smooth and thick, stopping to scrape the sides as needed.
3. Adjust thickness with a splash more milk if necessary.
4. Spoon the smoothie into a chilled bowl.
5. Arrange toppings in rows or sections: granola, banana slices, berries, chia seeds, and coconut.
6. Sprinkle hemp seeds on top and serve immediately.
Notes
Use frozen fruit for the best thick, ice-cream-like texture.
For extra protein, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder or Greek yogurt.
Swap coconut milk for oat or soy milk for a lighter vegan option.
Drizzle almond butter or honey on top for added richness and flavor.
