- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll the pizza dough into a log and cut it into equal pieces (about 1-2 inches each).
- Take each piece and tie it into a knot.
- Place the knots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Brush the garlic butter mixture over the knots.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush with more garlic butter if desired.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Garlic knots can be stored in the fridge for about 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven for best results.
