- 8 oz pasta
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir. Season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
- Serve with fresh basil on top.
Notes
Feel free to add grated cheese or vegetables for extra flavor and nutrients. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
