Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir. Season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well.
  5. Serve with fresh basil on top.

Notes

Feel free to add grated cheese or vegetables for extra flavor and nutrients. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
