Description
Delicious and easy-to-make fluffy pancakes, perfect for family gatherings or a lazy brunch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Maple syrup
- Fresh berries
Instructions
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix the milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl until combined.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients by pouring the milk mixture into the flour mixture. Stir until just mixed; a few lumps are okay.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve topped with maple syrup and fresh berries.
Notes
Don’t overmix the batter! Letting the batter rest for about 5 minutes helps produce fluffier pancakes.
