Ingredients
- Lasagna noodles
- Ground beef
- Onion, diced
- Garlic, minced
- Tomato sauce
- Bechamel sauce
- Fresh mozzarella, sliced
- Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
- Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- Stir in the tomato sauce and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Layer a bit of meat sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by meat sauce, béchamel, and mozzarella.
- Repeat layering until ingredients are used, finishing with béchamel and Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, replace ground beef with spinach and mushrooms.
