- 4 lobster tails
- 1 ¼ teaspoons paprika, divided
- 1 ¼ teaspoons Old Bay seasoning, divided
- 1 ¼ teaspoons kosher salt, divided
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, melted
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- 3 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut down the back of each lobster shell, stopping just before the tail base.
- Gently pull the shell back and separate the lobster meat to rest on top of the shell.
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet fitted with a rack.
- Mix together the seasoning ingredients and sprinkle over the lobster tails.
- Bake the lobster tails in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Combine melted butter, parsley, garlic, lemon zest, and additional seasonings in a bowl.
- Brush the butter mixture over the lobster tails, reserving some for later.
- Broil the lobster tails for about 3 minutes until golden.
- Spoon the reserved garlic butter over the tops and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For the best flavor, use fresh lobster tails and serve immediately after cooking.
