Description

Delightful Moroccan almond cookies that are gluten-free and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 200 g almond flour
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
  • Powdered sugar (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix together the almond flour, granulated sugar, and baking powder in a large bowl.
  3. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and orange blossom water to the dry ingredients. Stir until you have a soft dough.
  4. Flour your hands lightly and shape the dough into balls about the size of a walnut.
  5. Roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat.
  6. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and slightly flatten them.
  7. Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
  8. Let them rest for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

For best results, use fine almond flour and avoid overbaking for a soft center.
