- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Green food coloring
- Black decorating gel
- Coconut flakes (optional for decorating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease and flour your cake pan.
- Combine the cake mix, honey, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large bowl. Mix according to the package instructions until everything is well blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake according to the package directions or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely, then crumble it into a large bowl.
- Add the powdered sugar and white chocolate chips to the crumbled cake. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls that resemble golf balls.
- Melt the green food coloring into the white chocolate and coat each golf ball with this mixture. Allow them to cool and harden.
- Use the black decorating gel to draw dimples and details on each of the golf balls.
- Roll the finished cake balls in coconut flakes for added texture if desired. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure the cake cools completely before crumbling. Use a cookie scoop for consistent ball sizes.
