Delightful bite-sized treats resembling golf balls, perfect for golf-themed gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • Green food coloring
  • Black decorating gel
  • Coconut flakes (optional for decorating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and grease and flour your cake pan.
  2. Combine the cake mix, honey, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large bowl. Mix according to the package instructions until everything is well blended.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake according to the package directions or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely, then crumble it into a large bowl.
  5. Add the powdered sugar and white chocolate chips to the crumbled cake. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
  6. Form the mixture into small balls that resemble golf balls.
  7. Melt the green food coloring into the white chocolate and coat each golf ball with this mixture. Allow them to cool and harden.
  8. Use the black decorating gel to draw dimples and details on each of the golf balls.
  9. Roll the finished cake balls in coconut flakes for added texture if desired. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Make sure the cake cools completely before crumbling. Use a cookie scoop for consistent ball sizes.
