Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice, buttered side down, on the skillet.
  4. Layer the cheese, sliced avocado, and tomato on top.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
  7. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Remove from skillet, cut in half, and serve immediately.
