- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup green food coloring
- Powdered sugar for coating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix together the granulated sugar and vegetable oil until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing until everything is combined.
- Stir in the green food coloring until it’s evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Form the dough into small balls and roll them in powdered sugar until well coated.
- Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space in between them.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set while the centers remain soft.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your festive cookies!
