Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup green food coloring
  • Powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix together the granulated sugar and vegetable oil until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing until everything is combined.
  5. Stir in the green food coloring until it’s evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Form the dough into small balls and roll them in powdered sugar until well coated.
  7. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space in between them.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set while the centers remain soft.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your festive cookies!
