Description

A delightful fusion of grilled cheese sandwiches and burritos, filled with cheesy goodness and hearty ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Butter or oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease and add taco seasoning with 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 20-30 seconds to make them flexible.
  3. Assemble the burrito by layering rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese sauce, chipotle sauce, sour cream, cheddar, and mozzarella on a warm tortilla.
  4. Heat a clean skillet and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese in it. Place the burrito seam-side down and grill for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

Notes

Serve hot with salsa, guacamole, or salad. For extra flavor, drizzle additional chipotle sauce or sprinkle more cheese on top before serving.
