Description

A delicious and easy-to-make chicken bowl with a sweet and savory sticky sauce, served over rice with vibrant veggies.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed colorful veggies (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger to create your sauce.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced chicken to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken until it’s browned and fully cooked through; this should take about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Pour your homemade sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve the sticky chicken over a bed of cooked rice and top it with fresh, colorful veggies.
