Description

A delicious and comforting classic pasta bake, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 400g penne pasta
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Drain the pasta and return it to the pot.
  4. Add the marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the pasta; mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add sautéed vegetables or cooked ground meat to the pasta mixture.
