- 500 g Boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 tablespoons Neutral cooking oil
- 120 ml Barbecue sauce
- 60 ml Honey
- 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 1 teaspoon Dried parsley
Instructions
- Add the chicken pieces, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to a mixing bowl. Toss everything together until the chicken is evenly coated with the seasonings.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it becomes hot and shimmering.
- Add the chicken to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown and fully cooked through.
- Mix the barbecue sauce, honey, tomato paste, and water in a small bowl until you create a smooth mix.
- Reduce the heat to low, pour the sauce over the chicken, and gently toss until all pieces are coated in the sauce.
- Let the chicken simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens up.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle the dried parsley over the top before serving.
