- 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch in a bowl.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and black pepper in a pot and bring to a boil. Then let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the crispy chicken to the sauce and toss it gently to coat.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
