Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch in a bowl.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the chicken until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and black pepper in a pot and bring to a boil. Then let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the crispy chicken to the sauce and toss it gently to coat.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
