Hot Honey Feta Chicken

Description

Delicious chicken marinated in a sweet and spicy honey sauce, topped with crumbled feta.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 200 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix together the honey, olive oil, hot sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the greased baking dish and generously coat them with the marinade.
  4. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 22–28 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Remove the chicken from the oven and add the crumbled feta on top. Broil for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with pan sauce.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for at least 15 minutes for more intense flavor.
