Delicious and fluffy jumbo cinnamon rolls drizzled with cream cheese icing, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

- 1 ½ cup whole milk (warmed to 110°F)
- 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) instant dry yeast
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 5 ¼ – 5 ¾ cups bread flour (or all-purpose)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, semi-melted
- 1 ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
Instructions
- Add warm milk, yeast, sugar, 5 ¼ cups flour, salt, eggs, and softened butter into the bowl of a stand mixer. Knead the dough for 5 minutes at medium-low speed.
- Transfer the kneaded dough to a greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for about 45 minutes.
- Prepare the filling by beating together semi-melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Punch down the risen dough gently, then roll it out into a 14×20 inch rectangle. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly.
- Roll the dough up from the short end into a log and cut into 8 pieces. Place in a greased pan.
- Let the rolls rise while preheating the oven to 350°F. Pour heavy cream over the tops before baking.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- While the rolls bake, beat together cream cheese and softened butter for the icing. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
- Spread the icing over warm rolls and serve.
Notes
Knead the dough well for the best texture, and be patient with rising times.
