- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 3 large eggs
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3/4 cup marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the cream cheese, 2 cups of mozzarella, parmesan, and eggs together in a large bowl.
- Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spreading it into a thin layer.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until it turns a lovely golden color.
- Grab a skillet and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Assemble in a baking dish, layering the keto noodles, ricotta, meat mixture, and additional mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients and top with the remaining mozzarella.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using fresh basil or parsley on top before serving.
