Description

A delicious blend of marinated steak, creamy sauce, and vibrant vegetables over rice, perfect for family dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb steak (flank or sirloin), sliced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetables (like bok choy or carrots), optional

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the sliced steak with soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the marinated steak until it reaches your desired doneness, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. After cooking, remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
  4. Keep the skillet on medium heat, add the heavy cream and sriracha, stirring until everything combines and heats through.
  5. To assemble your bowls, place a generous helping of cooked rice in each bowl, top with the cooked steak, and drizzle with the spicy cream sauce.
  6. Finish off your bowls with sliced green onions and any optional veggies you’d like to add. Serve immediately.

Notes

Consider adding sesame seeds or serving with steamed dumplings for added flavor.
