A delicious and easy recipe for Korean Chicken Breasts that transforms an ordinary weeknight dinner into something special.

- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Steamed rice (for serving)
- Steamed vegetables (for serving)
Instructions
- Mix together the soy sauce, garlic, ginger, honey or brown sugar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper to form the marinade.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes, or overnight for more flavor.
- Preheat the grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side if grilling, or bake for about 25-30 minutes on a baking sheet.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Serve with steamed rice and veggies.
Notes
For the best flavor, marinate overnight. Let chicken rest after cooking for juicier meat.
