- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Steamed rice (for serving)
- Steamed vegetables (for serving)
Instructions
- Combine the soy sauce, minced garlic, ginger, honey (or sugar), vegetable oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side or bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Serve the chicken hot, alongside steamed rice and vegetables.
Notes
For a deeper flavor, marinate overnight before cooking. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds for presentation.
